Help shape STEMApply.
STEMApply makes science, technology, engineering and mathematics practical, visual and interactive. Explore six complete courses, use the built-in labs and tell us what works, what feels unclear and what should improve next. Your feedback will help shape the Academy before launch.
Built for real learning. Shaped by real feedback.
Complete beginners
Every course starts from first principles: no prior knowledge assumed, no jargon without a definition.
Apprentices and career changers
Practical courses (electronics, CNC, spreadsheets) built around how the skills are used at work.
Students and upskillers
Maths, physics and programming foundations that connect across subjects instead of living in silos.
What makes STEMApply different
STEMApply is built around active learning. Learners do not only read explanations: they write code, work through calculations, analyse circuits, build spreadsheet formulas and simulate CNC toolpaths.
The labs assess whether a solution works, rather than requiring the learner to copy one exact answer. Two learners may solve the same task differently and still reach a correct result.
What you can test
These are the complete beta courses currently open for testing. Each includes structured lessons, practice and an interactive lab.
Tell us how you are testing
This helps us read your feedback in context. Stored locally in this prototype: no external services.
What a useful test looks like
- Open a course that matches your interest.
- Complete at least one lesson end to end.
- Try one lab activity (run code, build a formula, simulate a toolpath).
- Complete one practice check and read the feedback it gives you.
- Leave lesson feedback (the panel at the bottom of every lesson).
- If you have time, test a second course in a different subject.
- Report anything broken or confusing: clearly and kindly.
How to report a useful bug
A useful report includes: the course and lesson name, what you clicked, what you expected, what happened instead, and your browser or device where known.
What we are building
STEMApply is being created to make serious STEM education practical, visual and accessible. The goal is to help learners understand difficult ideas from first principles, practise them through interactive tools and apply them through meaningful projects.
The beta is part of that process. Useful comments, bug reports and course suggestions help build a stronger Academy.
Important beta information
STEMApply is an early-stage private beta: course content and features are still being reviewed and improved. Prototype progress is currently stored locally in your browser, and completing a course is not yet an accredited qualification. The CNC Code Lab is an educational simulator only and does not replace real machine verification. Electrical activities cover low-voltage learning only. The Spreadsheet Lab is an independent educational tool and is not affiliated with Microsoft. Feedback is welcome on all of it: that is what a beta is for.
